Kerry Lauria

Father, we are in desperate need of you. Place a hedge of protection around your people in Zimbabwe and shield them from further harm and despair. Your Word says that whatever we bind on earth in prayer is bound in heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ, we bind the spirit of anger and violence in Zimbabwe. Send forth your Spirit of peace to all people there. Bring immediate restoration to this country and safety to all of your people. Lord, we pray specifically for Patson, Sindie and their baby and all involved in the work of Young Life in Zimbabwe and throughout the world. In this time of fear and confusion, give them strength and wisdom. You are our hiding place. Provide your protection from trouble and bring about deliverance. In the name of your Son we pray, Amen.

About Me

  • My name is Larry Parker
and I am one of the leaders of Sugarloaf United Methodist Church. I've been at Sugarloaf since January 1997. I direct a fantastic worship arts team and lead our congregation in worship most Sundays. Along with all of that, I am the husband to a wonderful wife. Check out her site to see her studio. It is at www.joanieparkerhairstudio.com. (No she doesn't cut my hair. She colors it with nice fleshy tones.) Getting to my blog is easy. Just type in www.larryparker.org and it will bring you back. Check in regularly for updates. Blessings!

Ode 17

  • Listen to Ode 17
Click the link to hear our live recording of me singing Ode 17 accompanied by my awesome worship arts team at our 11AM Easter service. Ode 17 is an incredible song that says through Jesus Christ we are free from the power of death. "I have been freed. I am not condemned!" What a great reminder of the incredible way Jesus affected us with his life, death, and resurrection. See Romans 5:6-11 and 6:1-11.

I'm proud of my worship arts team. Listen to the band back me up on, Gotta Serve Somebody, and then listen to the "Heaven" service for more. Remember, these are live, rough recordings!
  • Get Your Hair Done Here! Please!
I'm proud of Joanie Parker Hair Studio being voted best in Gwinnett County in our first year of business! Thanks to Accent Gwinnett Magazine and all of their readers who voted for us. I'm kind of proud of my wife. Can you tell?
